OOOHHHHH I’m SO HAPPY FOR YOU YELLER!!! This is such an exciting time in your life… soak it all up and keep the pictures coming! I love the camping tradition… and I love that Daniel did snow-angels. I can’t even imagine how great and grown up it must feel!!!

Lece,

We are still camping out (and will be til Saturday). Well, right now they are and I’m blogging. My family did this every Friday night growing up and the first night when my parents bought their current house so it’s sort of a tradition.

We still need to get some more paint, mouldings, kitchen flooring and tiles for the backsplash. Emma now can recognize Home Depot and Lowes! She also knows that if she is good while we are they, we’ll hit the Starbucks that shares the parking lot on the way out!

It’s also become sort of a joke that I want to “upgrade” our table as well. It’s a fine table, but we bought in on ebay for 99 cents and it doesn’t feel very grown up…like having our own house feels like.

As a gift my parents bought us all new stainless steel appliances. They will be delivered in the morning. Seriously…when I opened the fridge I heard the Hallelujah chorus!

what a stressful blur of time that was from discovering the stickers to hearing the good news — i can’t even imagine. so sorry, friend!

i giggled at the thought of you camping out on the living room floor. are you doing that all week till you officially move in?
